You can buy pineapples in the supermarket, but in Aquiraz in NE Brazil, a lorry goes around the houses once a week. You can buy cheap fruit from the lorry. It is good quality and very fresh.

Carne Do Sol

A regional dish from the North East of Brazil is called "Carne do Sol". It consists of meat that has been dried in the sun. It is served with rice and beans. It may also be served with Manioc root and caramelised banana. Yum!
